what's your opinion of Bushnell's Firefly reticle? I was thinking of putting one of their Elite 3200 scopes on a new rifle and wondered about the Firefly capabilities.

I like the pinpoint light better in my battery operated reticles. But I don't like the fact that batteries wear out. I also tend to forget to turn them off. Electronics are also another thing to go wrong. The Firefly is simple and virtually foolproof since I always have a couple of lights on me so no excuse not to shine it before heading to stand or just before dusk. Glow lasts through legal shooting light. Not sure how many years it will last, though.
