I have had great experiences with Wold ammo. I do not do it, but if you are a big time shooter, it pays to reload your' own ammo. It is something I would like to start though.

Wolf ammo sucks and PMC from what I have been told stands for Poorly Manufactured Cartridge. Although the stuff I bought for my 7mm woorked great and I am still reloading the brass, go with PMC.

Wolf worked okay for me out of a Bushmaster. Russian made. Not sure PMC .223 Rem is made - could be US, Korea or S. Africa.

I personally would not shoot any steel cased ammunition out of a rifle that was not of east-bloc manufacture, for example, AK's or SKS. Seems to me you shouldn't put a cartridge into your chamber that might be capable of scratching that area. I've also never heard of the Russians being accused of being paragons of quality manufacturing. Just my two cents worth.

            WOlf now makes brass rounds.

Wolf .45acp worked fine for me in my 1911. Wolf .410 slugs misfired every other round. Both were steel cased. I do prefer brass, but I wanted to try em.

I've had excellent results with PMC ammunition, never a problem in rifle or handgun ammunition, and the brass reloads well. A shooting colleague claimed a disappointing experience with Wolf ammunition in his rifle, but I was not present to witness it.

Thanks, I'm glad I bought 3 dry boxes of PMC and not the Wolf Crap!
