    I have a mossberg 500a with a cracked forend.I bought the replacement set from ramline, the stock mounted great but the forend was totally different.I see guys with the same gun and forend but cannot find a replacement anywhere.Can you help me?

    If the replacement wasn't synthetic you could strip and refinish the stock and forearm the same.

      Jim in Mo,The replacement I got was totally different in the way that it mounted.The slots in the forend for the action slide assembly were not the same length as the original so it would not mount correctly.I've checked everywhere I can think of for a wood or synthetic and have found nothing.

        Big question. Did you Order the stock for the 500 "A" or the 500. I've got the 500 and my friend has the 500A, some parts interchange, but some don't.

          The 500a and the 500 have different forends. And the 500a has at least 3 different styles.I just cannot find the one I need.Thanks for the input though.
