  • New Weatherby

.338 Magnum power in a Weatherby 6 lug BackCountry with 18" or 20" barrel. It is called the .338Wby Mag RPM that stands for
Rebated Precision Magnum. Special Rebated rim cartridge developed by Weatherby. Customize yours for about $3500.
Also, an interesting compilation of their products can be found on their web site under Products/Legacy. Which one(s) do you have?

I have the Mark V Featherweight model chambered in 25-06 weighing in at 5.5 pounds. It's hard to beat for stomping mountains all day.

I have a Mark V Lightweight Sporter .30-06 and it has pretty stiff recoil since it’s a light rifle. With a cartridge approaching .338 magnum power, I’ll bet the .338 RPM with heavier bullets in a 6 lug Mark V will cross your eyes without a good muzzle brake. Nein, danke.

Just have the Walmart weatherbys a regular vanguard in .270 and the range certified 25-06. While they mark V are beautiful just make myself spend money on one.
