"... Sm and Lg primers $9/100. 100 limit per visit. ..."

I'd be running in and out of that store like my pants were on fire.....
well.... until I got at least 2 flats (200) of small and large primers.

P.S. - that old $300 per case lot for primers is gougers.
Nine bucks a flat is still nearly 10 cents per, but $300/case is 30 cents per.

I saw $300/flat at auction 10 days ago. Yesterday, many lots of different amounts and brands went for .15 to .25 apiece at another local auction.

$300/flat or case? Hopefully you meant case.
Three hundred a flat would be $3/ea! YIKES!!!

Blows me away. I guess sometimes being a tightwad is a good thing.

franchi20, in a charitable situation, I understand paying exorbitant prices, but just a run-of-the-mill auction, especially where I can't see the other bidders, I'd probably bail at the $10 mark for a flat..... and WAY before $300 for a case lot of primers.
Three hundred bucks can buy a butt load of ammo, even at $30/bx.

Just looked it up, generally it works like this:

            pack/flat/box = 100

            brick/sleeve = 1000

            case= 5,000 or 10,000 depending on manufacturer.

Pretty generic descriptions, it’s no wonder they get mixed up.

              Oh, okay.
I've never seen more than a "brick" or "sleeve".
Three hundred for a case of 5k is six cents per. Not TOO bad! LOL!
              Thanks for the info fitch270.
I will attempt to update my "brain"! LOL!

                My mistake. $300 per 1000.

Sample results at auction: Win. WLR & Rem. 9.5 magnum $32.50/100
                CCI #200 $250/1000
                Cheddite 209 $60/1000

                  That's just crazy franchi20.
fitch270 straightened me out. I thought a "case" was 10 flats or 1000. That would be a "brick" or a "sleeve".
                  I could see $300 for 10k.
....and again, maybe I'm just letting my OFS show. LOL!
