I like the Glock 27 - chambered in .40 sw, it makes a nice compact, concealable back-up or concealed carry weapon. Very accurate and reliable for such a small weapon. In fact, it's the only Glock I really like. I'm not really a fan of them overall either - they remind me of the plastic guns you used to get with the play station when playing duck hunter when I was a kid! lol.. But I do know a lot of people really like them and swear by them

I'm with scratch here. They shoot well, but I feel uneasy about having the redundant safeties all in one place. Plaxico Burress (former wide receiver for the N.Y. Giants) shot himself in the leg just trying to grab hold of a Glock sliding down the leg of his pants.
I also don't care much for the looks of the Glock, after being spoiled by the styling of the 1911 Colt.

BTW, Plaxico Burress was released from prison last month, after serving 20 months in the state penitentiary for the illegal possession of the Glock in New York City. He lost millions of dollars by missing out on two football seasons following his catch of the winning touchdown pass in the 2008 Super Bowl.

Glock 22,27. Most police departments use this for a very good reason, it is a .40 so it has the speed of a 9mm and the power of a .45.
