MS works ok with newer versions, but if you have XP or older it is not efficient and slow.

MS spellchecker only highlights bad words. You have to right click to see the suggestions. After the first time making a correction the program will automatically make the same change any time I make the same typo. But that's the only time it will change words without a prompt from me. Works pretty well.

I use APPLE Safari and the spell checker is EVIL. It scrambles my typos into things that make no sense.

MS is not phasing it out. I just downloaded the newest version yesterday. Spellchecker has been in it for a while now.
