For $17 you wouldn’t be out much, unless you had a faulty reading and blew a gun up.

There’s a saying in race car circles, if you can’t afford good safety equipment then you can’t afford to race. I think that mindset applies well to handloading also.

There is a check weight to verify and calibrate the balance

Why don't you break down and get the auto dispense Gen 6 balance/dispenser ? You will never look back if you get one. Lyman has their name on one and Optics Planes and Cabelas sells them. Around $225. Fast, accurate easy to use. Balance shows you the exact amt of powder before you dump it in the case.
