Does anyone here have any experience with Knives of Alaska? I've been prowling their website and kind of like some of their stuff---especially that they give the Rockwell hardness of their knives (and it's on up there). Looking for some hands-on experience.

I have two. One is a 4" drop point with a partially serrated blade called the African skinner. The other is a small caper called the Cub Bear. Both are sharp enough to cut your eyeball if you look at them too hard. Both retain their edge well. The Cub Bear is like a scalpel for cutting out inside tenderloins and is quite handy for any small game. I would recommend KOA to anyone, they have a model for every purpose.

I have one of their wood saws that will be sent back to them for replacement. First use the tip broke squarely off, probably my son bound it up in the pine log. I will just stick with my old Dandy saws from now on. People in Wyoming who own the knives seem to really like them.
