Whisker biscuit VS. drop away rest what do you like better?

I have only heard, and never seen, of one instance where a whisker biscuit froze up and couldn't be shot. The story I heard of was from my electricians sister who lives in Kodiak, and was on, I believe, a bear hunt when freezing rain followed by a cold snap froze it up to where the arrow was half unfletched when it was shot. If the story is true, it's the only downfall I've never seen.

i shoot neither, i have 3 brushes that contain my arrow (whatever that is called). but i would have to go with a whisker biscuit if those are my only two options. i have not heard one complaint from drop away rests, but more moving parts just does not sit easy with me, its just one more thing that can fail on you.

I use a drop away. I am sure a whisker biscuit is fine I jusy like less contact on my arrow. I have never had a problem with mine. You just have to take good care of your equipment and make sure everything is functioning properly. I replace all the cordage on my bow yearly, except the string, to make sure I do not have any issues with dry rot.

I guess my only real issue with the biscuit is that it is full containment which means your bow arm has got to be rock steady until the arrow clears. But then again it should be anyway.
I guess I could see that could freeze solid as in Pray-hunts post.
