I agree with dokklee...cabelas is obsolete when it comes to customer service. I think they would let you return pretty much anything even if you have already used it in the field. The products that both companies sell are the same but its the service that a company provides to their customers that makes a huge difference on whether or not a customer will return time and time again to buy gear. I also feel like cabelas has more of a selection of "cabela" brand hunting clothing but thats just me. I dont know if bass pro shops supports veterans and military personnel either...but I DO know that cabelas usually once a month or every other month will have a 20% discount for individuals who can provide a military ID
