Never been to Bass Pro shops. But I am going to have to go with cabelas.

Cabellas has a WAY better selection of WAY better products at WAY better prices.

Cabelas i went too one once about two houtrs from my house in pa. it was aewsome it was two floors, things werent exoensive, there was tons of mounts everywhere, and even a fake mountain with mounts, there was rooms filled with mounts or game fish, tons of gear, and a restraunt.

i love Bass Pro Shops and we have one right here with in 20 minutes

I prefer Bass Pros because I'm mainly a fisherman and that's what Bass Pros focuses mainly on and Cabela's focuses on hunting more. This is just my opinion though. The only time I shop at Bass Pros is online because the nearest one is about 3 hours away. Good luck fishin'!

Probably depends on what your focus is, but I would have to say the Cabelas has a better, larger selection on everything in general. Their customer service is second to none- no matter what the complaint they have never given me hassle about a return. I highly recommend them to everyone.

I have never shooped at Bass Pro Shops but I can tell you that Cabelas has very clothing ...better than Gander Mountain, or Dicks Sporting goods. Their customer service is great. Their return policy is impecable. I have spent thousands of dollars buying gear at Cabelas. One example is ...I bought a new high end compound bow in 2008. I shot it and kept it for a month. I decided it didn't shoot much better than my old bow. I took it back and exchanged it for another bow.( their policy is 100% satisfaction) Each time the bow was set up for me and they watched me shoot it as well. No charge ( I bought the sights and arrow rest ect. and some of them were exchanged as well) and no hassle. Try that at your local retail store
