    I use a paair of Nikon Monarch ATB 10x42.. Real clear and also work well with me wearing glasses.

    You gotta define "not too expensive". I've got some Nikon's that I paid $70 for, would I like a nicer pair, yep, but they work good for me, and they're all I could afford.

    I own two pair of Nikons @ $200 a peice. Very clear and good at low light. I forget the model name.

    Actually I have a 3rd cheaper pair that work good too.

    I bought a set of Leupold Katmai's in 8x last year and they are awesome! I paid $300.00 on clearance at Gander Mtn. I think they normally of for around $400.00. I don't know if that is mid-range but you sure get what you pay for in optics so you might want to plan on that price range. At least that's what I found and I looked through alot of binos before buying.
