You can find them most any where now days. My local Wally world stocks 4 different units. Cabela's and BP Shop have a very good selection in their catalogs.

If you can afford it get the Leica rangefinder. They are hands down the best rangefinders on the market, but they are pricey...

I have used Leica for several years. I have nothing negative to say about them that does not pertain to electronic rangefinders in general. Take extra batteries with you and have a good support for long range such as a tree, a boulder, or a fence post. Weather can sometimes impact the accuracy. Once you get used to having the rangefinder with you it is difficult to hunt without it. It will make a lier out of you and you will initially step off the distance to verify the fact that what you thought was 300 yards is only 225 or something similiar. Typically the farther away the target the more people tend to misjudge the actual distance. Under normal conditions the Leica is very accurate and it takes really really bad precipitation or fog to cause it to malfunction. I understand the newer ones are even better than mine so maybe I should upgrade. Supposedly Swarovsky makes the absolute best, which I don't doubt, but they tend to cost even more than the Leica. Someone told me the top of the line Leupold is excellent in every way but I have not used one.

I've used Swarovski, Leica, and Leupold. The Swarovski is the best, but for the money Leupold is the best value.

Figure out what you want then get it on Ebay. Best deals I have found anywhere. BTW I have Leupold it works fine and takes up very little space.

If you have one nearby, drive to a Cabelas store. They'll let you try them out in store (the store is definitely big enough) to see which one works best for you.
