    When hunting in the Rockies I rarely encounter another hunter with a tightly filled large backpack. However on TV hunting shows it seems that it is standard issue. What is in those backpacks that can't be carried in your pockets or a fanny pack?

        Plenty of toilet paper I bet, some of those shows are so full of sh%@ and fake. Don't show me a reenactment.

          Midgits with frying pans to drive the deer to their fabulas grunts and calls that way they can sell another super duper deer howler!

            It's not what's in the backpack, it's who's name is on the backpack. A sponsor would rather have his name on your back than in your pocket.

              Too much stuff.

              People used to hunt with a loincloth and a spear. They did just fine, obviously, because we exist.

                    The second is a number by Billy Idol. It’s not easy to follow the lyrics so here’s a small bit;

                    Since this is winding down, I think, I’m going to post up two that are anti gun in lyric but probably really about anti violence.

                    CFE does keep a barrel cleaner, making for more shooting between cleanings. Its main advantage is extra velocity for me though. In the hot summer sun,...
