Recently we were on an archery deer hunt and were attacked by tons of mosquitoes and the repellant we used was detected by the deer. Is there a effective repellant that is scentless?

The ThermaCell Mosquito Repellant thing is great ive heard. It can be put anywhere and it keeps you mosquito free 15' around you. It also is apparently scent free, so you can use it while hunting.

I have found the best repellant is to wear long sleeves during bow season. A little hot but worth not being eaten alive.

Thermacell works great for me during bow season. Deer havent noticed it at all.

Forget the repellent and pick up a bug suit. I picked one up a few years back for my bear hunt and it worked great. Very light weight and just pulls over your other gear.

I was introduced to the Thermacell two years ago. For me it is the greatest invention since sliced bread. It worked exactly as advertised. Not often that a product actually does that.
