I lent a friend one of my fly rods. When I got it back I threw it in my truck with the rest of my rods. The other day another friend and I take a trip a few hours away to fish. In the early morning I grabbed the rod I had lent witch was not the rod I meant to grab only to realize when we get to the stream that he had broke the tip of the rod about a foot down from the tip. I tried to fish it and on the third cast the rod snapped completely leaving me 3 hours away from another rod. I ended up cutting the rod at the next eyelet and fished with a broken rod for the day which was quite difficult. Needless to say when I got home he got a phone call.
