Hey all, I have a stream down the road and want to start trout fishing. What are the best trout baits for a stream? Thanks

While spinners are a good choice, it's hard to beat live bait. Baby nightcrawlers and red worms are my bait of choice.

ok tie a hook on the end and then about a foot and a half up from the hook put a small split shot and bait it with either a night crawler or a salted minnow works great for me...good luck

Potomac Coachmen with gold blade, night crawlers if fishing for brookies, power bait, meal worms.

A small black and white rapalla, I like the sinking version. For spring time before any hatches its deadly, focus on the cut banks.

                Hi...

When fishing the smaller streams, I've had me best luck with either earthworms...or night crawlers threaded on a three-hook arrangement on one leader.

any live bait that is opposed to that body of water from flies to minnows, night crawlers anything natural but they also love meal worms, wax worms, butterworms, grubs the minnows usually does the trick for me but I usually carry all the baits I mentioned bc sometimes they get tired of seeing the same bait and something they haven't seen sometimes works great but their is also a lot of spinners (rooster tails) cast masters, and trout magnets are all good tools to have up your sleeve even power bait is good sometimes which neon green glitter is a personal favorite........compliments of team getting bent
