                I love taking my boys offshore for snapper, kingfish, Spanish mackerel. They're excellent anglers and good sports. We don't seem to have much luck nearshore, though.

                        The unpredictable nature of saltwater fishing is the appeal for me. I caught an undersized triggerfish on one trip, not even 12 inches, and my buddy caught a shark nearly four feet long standing right next to me. Same bait, same rig, story of my life.

                          Well thats a silly question. I love salwater fishing for the challenge and the fights. also, bigger and more tastefull fish.

                              Under certain circumstances. It has to be cool and cloudy, with plenty of action. Fishing and catching King and large Spanish circumstances can be very enjoyable. Also, I hooked the largest King Mackerel during a storm at the pier in Fort Walton Beach, FL. He jumped and broke a 40-lb steel leader.

                              There is no substitute for red snapper. Unfortunately, they have been wiped out by commercial fishermen.
