I like to fish in brackish waters mainly I live on the east coast of florida where the downpours have been coming down for 4 days I have been advised this type of weather messes up the fishing??? However I have noticed alot of red and snook activity in the past... Can you please share your experience....

Reds and Snook can/will tolerate lower salinity water even freah water for short periods. When I lived in Florida as a kid, my Dad and I used to hit a big storm sewer outlet on Tampa bay after a big rain. The mouth of the outlet would be full of Snook and Reds as long as the rush of freah water kept coming. We caught some wopper snook and reds during those times.
