Nice day on Lake Erie. 10 knot breeze and 10deg cooler than on shore. 2 to 3' waves, building to 4 to 5'. Good drift conditions. They are here. Click image for larger version

Sound like you had a good walleye chop.
      Did you catch your limit?

This is an Ohio state study on what color lures walleye like.

I went swimming. I don't use those colors. I like green/white 1/2 to 3/4 oz Eirie Deerie but you have to change colors depending on water condition and angle of sun.
The graph was from about 2pm - no clouds. Light sensitive Walleye are forced down. Light is probably penetrating 15' so I would cast and count down 25 to 30 secs if I fished this area.
In some situations, there is a thermocline and you would fish that,

These are some of my lures. I don't have the box with all the Erie Dearies in it. Click image for larger version

Got my boat inspected by the Auxiliary Coast Guard. New this year fire extinguishers must be no more than 12 years old. Date is usually found on the bottom. Older can stay on the boat, just don't count for the inspection.
