Anytime I cook with beer or whiskey I use whatever tastes best to me at the time. I dont drink one brand specifically. Especially beer. I like to swith it up. I would say whatever your in the mood for.. use it no particular one is best. Busch is pretty good though. My personal favorite is any one that is cold!lol

SCHMIDT, OF COURSE, that's why they put pictures of fish on the cans.

Generally in cooking, the cheaper the better, so you could go with a nice Pabst Blue Ribbon. But I'm a big fan of either Killian's Irish Red. Or for a different twist, the Miller light with lime.

ShockTop I believe its a wheat ale, with citrus (orange and lemon) anyways kinda expensive but has tons of great natural flavoring, so you just have to buy one thing at the store and thats the six pack. Blue Moon is also good in the same catagory as above. I'm going to have to try the guiness, bet that gives it a a very full flavor can't wai till the weekend now!

use a dark beer like Beck's Dark. Just because you drink the cheap stuff doesn't mean you should cook with it. Unless you have already been drinking a good bit before you eat, then it really doesn't matter what you cooked it in, it will all taste the same!

Try it all. All beers taste different, as you most likely know, so just buy what you want. Experiment!
