Going to Lake Francis Case ( Fort Randall) South Dakota in a few weeks. Just wondering how the fish are biting, and on what?

Was there during the first week of June... biting like crap... you fish all day for a couple of nibbles. The weather has been unseasonably cold with lots of changing fronts... bad for fish... it should change any time though and with consistent nice weather I would have to recommend that you keep your hands out of the water because they will be hitting anything... they will be hungry... good luck. They also like minnows and worms and we tied up some streamer flies and will try running them behind dodgers and ahead of crankbaits just to see what happens. Purple and chartruese crank baits are absolutely the best for walleys.
