Use your fish finder to locate some structure down pretty deep. They like to hang by sunken trees/logs and such. I'd use minnows and keep moving till you find them.

Find the structure you'll find the fish. +1 for you matouse3. Spring/ shallow, summer/deep.
      Good luck and good fishing.

Always check around structure. Crappie love structure to hang around whether that be a dock, fallen tree, bridges, weeds, anything. Get yourself some jigs and minnows/worms and you will catch plenty. Good luck fishin'!

Around the edge of the lake, by fallen trees, brush, etc. and by some boat docks and under the docked pontoon boats.

Structure, primarily timber and sunken brush.
