Hey everyone, I am fishing Lake Gregory in SO CAL and I keep catching four to five inch crappie, tons, 200 in a matter of four hours. The problem is they are all 4 to 5 inches and none bigger, how do I keep the little guys of the hook and catch the slabs I know are there? I am fishing from shore using jugs and have tried bigger jigs with no luck. Please help me!!!

Sounds as if your lake may have an over abundance of small crappie.

Beekeeper is right. We had that problem with a local lake back in the 80's. Game Dept. declared war and let people keep as many small crappy they could catch. Fishing is much better now.
Call your local game office and tell them.
