NorthernArcher just hit on the submit button once.
Come back ten minutes later and your submitted question or comment will appear one time.

          It is just like magic.

Hurry back, just do it one button push at a time.

Whatever lure you choose throw it as many times as you posted and you will get a hit.

Other than that a big bucktail spinner and or a a big jerkbait with action will get them going. Be ready to cast a bunch. The combo of these two is good because sometimes they will chase something down and hit fast other times their mood is different and they will hit the jerkbait at the pause or when you jerk it again.

recommended lures: bucktails (cowgirls, spanky baits ad musky safari hatchet blades are my favorites). If you are willing to spend the money, Sebile makes some good swim baits that are effortless to throw and a straight retrieve will work. Bulldawgs have their time and place. Any large overhead spinner baits. Shallow raiders and depth raiders are good crankbaits, as well as believers. That should get you started.
