What a great question PastorBrady. I know this is an old post, but I fish almost exclusively plastic worms. I had to throw in my 2 cents. If I had to pick just one worm, it would be an 8' Creme Scoundrel in their Live color. It's been catching bass since 1949.

I second Red30's answer. I was bass fishing at Reelfoot lake in TN a few years ago. The bass would only hit the blue fleck 7" Berkley Power Worm. We ran out and they would not hit any other color. We bought more of the blue fleck at lunch and they started biting again. It's been my #1 "go to" plastic ever since.
