I saw a guy on Santee-Cooper one time with a catfish in a wheelbarrow. The head of the catfish was past the front of the wheelbarrow and the tail was out the back. Huge cats down there. But in all honesty, there's big cats everywhere. I've caught a fair share in Lake Norman, but the biggest I've heard was my buddy caught an 88 pound blue cat on a trot line in a little creek by Statesville. Big cats everywhere just be patient.
