Jigging spoons also work without being tipped with a minnow, but adding one on the treble can often double your catch. Set one still-line with a medium to large minnow in shallower water and jig slightly deeper. Shallow fish seem to prefer set minnows, but jigging is effective at all depths.

Find a small flat near a steep drop-off and fish that spot for the first or last three hours. When the water is murky fish a larger jigging rapala (#7), when its clearer fish a #5. Tip the bottom hook with a 2-3 inch blue or a larger perch minnow. Fish with two rods, one about 2 feet off bottom and one about 5 feet. A lot of the time these traveling fish will cruise through fast, be prepared to raise your higher jig in a hurry if the come through suspended. White or firetiger are my favorite colors.

Jig Rapalas, or slab spoons (heavy lead jigging spoons) both tipped with Gulp! or a half minnow.

From experience, walleye are going to be hanging around the same structure that they were on in the fall. But, I checked my "Ulti, ate Guide to Freshwater Fishing" and it says that basically you will find the fish on structure that they like in summer and fall.
Jigging rapalas (see the article in the new magazine issue), swedish pimple with minnow or lead head jig with minnow.
