i am just getting into fishing sauger in the south west indiana ohio river. i was just looking for any tips on fishing these from the riverbank. tackle, bait, lures, rigging, technique, positions on the bank, just about any tip i can get. much appreciated.

I like to fish them with green or white 2 to 3 inch grubs with a 1/2 to 3/4 wieght jig head brightly colored. I bounce if off the bottom at the mouth of creeks and other flat gravel areas. The colder and nastier the weather the better.
