Bring worms. Catch small fish, use chunks to get big fish. it feels good catching the bait that caught the bait that caught the fish. A lot more rewarding

Tons of baits can be used for catfish, I live to go with live bait that is found in the area, shad are my go to catfish bait.

DrMike, sounds cheaper to buy catfish fillets at a market. But, you do make a point. The more smell you can put out the better.
