Our pond (in central Indiana) recently was flooded really bad and all of the fish were wiped down stream never to be seen again. We want to re-stock it with bass and Gambousia. We will get thew bass for our table and the sport of fishing them and the Gambousia to eat mosquitoes and feed the bass. Is this a good choice to stock our pond with or do you have any better ideas.

You need to check to see if the fish really left. I've seen cases where many fish remained in a pond after it flooded. Most state DNR fisheries agencies will do pond assessments which will tell you what you have left and make stocking recommendations. Now days a fee is generally involved. Including sunfish (bluegill) in you stocking will provide a more stable food supply for the bass and also more fish for the table. If you stock sunfish you will need to stock them in the spring and the bass in the fall.
