    Get a 2 Liter Bottle of a Clear Soda (or Ginger Ale) and cut the upper portion to remove a funnel like portion and invert it and tape it so it looks like this |\/| and wrap it around the center and point the
    | | funnel upstream (put dog food in the center
    |__| of it.

      You can also try a seine if it is legal for you.

        the commercial frabil traps dont cost much on ebay. But if you can, just buy a frabil net thats about 6 feet long and net them in the thick stuff by shore. I've been doin it for ages. If you run out, just keep netting.

          Wal-Mart has a wire minnow trap (frabil) for $8-$9. Put wadded up bread or dog food in it and come back in the morning.
