    so im going fishing to a place that has alot of fish (brown rainbow and brook trout, atlantic salmon, striped bass,largemouth bass ,perch,sunfish,shad and pickerel) and i was wondering how can stripers live with trout? its a river but arent stripers saltwater? im not sure if im going to fish there its a 35 mile river but some one is visiting and i probly wont fish

    Stripers are tolerant to both types of water, salt and fresh.

      striper spawn in freshwater and enter the ocean after about 2 years of age. from then on it's a cycle that continues every year.
