    I would fish deep holes around logjams not the flats. The usual cut baits should work.

      Hook a small frog through the lip or a grasshopper drift it along the current. Channel cats will feed in the top water in fast current.Give it a try to see if you can locate some.

        Drop lines or trout lines rigged with live perch, minnows and cutbait along the rivers edge and as Dels said holes and down stream of logjams.
