Last year i busted my 5 foot 4 wgt fly rod. And got the last one in bass pro. And it was a couple steps below what i broke. Why 5 foot? Its perfect for those small streams with lots of cover and poor casting distance. I have been looking hard for a quality replacement. Can't find any at Dicks, Cabelas or 2 Different Bass Pro Shops. Tried online (ebay) and all i get are referrals to bigger rods. So i am asking the F&S; posse. Andbody know where I can find one online?

They are a little hard to find these days. To start I found one on amazon. Another thing to do is to go in your local bait shops and keep your eyes open sometimes I found better and stuff I wanted in those little shops.

I’m not going to recommend a specific rod, but you should definitely read through the Yellowstone Anglers 5 weight shootouts. They have some great in depth subjective and comparative data stuff that should let you decide what rod fits your personal style the best, or at least Kodi nox avoids what you dislike about the Base.
