Sorry guys, Tennessee is not in the "Deep Southeast". Give me red fish and sea trout in southern Louisana any day, Ya'll!

Northern Georgia has some great public water and private water. The private stuff is expensive. There are areas of the Soque near some of the private stuff that are very good, but do get pressured. The Cohutta Wilderness is good as is the Chattahooche in Metro Atlanta below Lanier dam.

Those places all are very warm, and trout do not survive in warm water. You're going to be hard pressed to find trout waters. On the border of North Carolina and Georgia there is a place called the Dillard House that has cabins and a stocked trout lake. We did very well and caught some 6+ pound trout, but I don't see them hitting a fly.

I just got back from Lobo Landing in Greers Ferry and did real well. I wasn't fly fishing I use an ultra light but caught a limit in four hours. If you go tell my buddy Chris I sent you.
