I havnt had much time to use em but i got alot of crankbaits. now i want to know if rapalas are really worth the time and money. i have the super shad rap, jointed shad rap, dt series(16 and 6 ft) husky jerk(5.5in) origial floater, skitter pop, and skitter prop. any tips for these lures?

    YES !
    Tip: USE THEM !
Early in year/night use top water stuff.
    Later in year(summer) go deeper.
Hope this helps. Good luck and good fishing.

Rapala makes great lures, you need to use them if you've got them. One thing I'd recommend is to use the Rapala knot to tie them on. Don't use swivles.

The origanal floater is the best lure I have ever used. The Rapala X-rap is in a close second. But for the floater, cast it in the shallows and wait til the ripples go away. Then twitch it a little bit, then a slow real in.
