what is the best fishing tactics for bass?

  • #2
Well I really don't think that there is one way that is best. To catch bass, you have fish all the time and get to know how the fish act in certain weather conditions and time of day. Try everything to see what works best. Crankbaits, spinnerbaits, jigs, plastics, and topwater baits all work at certain times. Just get to know your lake or river. That is the best tactic, learning about the fish's feeding patterns.

Use live bait (craw-dads/cray-fish,minnow's, worms, etc). Hope this helps.

Be still when on a boat and try not to spook the fish with any kind of noise or anything. As for bait... it all depends on the diet of the bass in the area. Look on the ground for some hints... also pay close attention to the water and the smaller fish.
