    Just a guess but the Indian River in Florida which flows from brackish to fresh water has a lot of fish.

      My WAG would be the Mississippi

        The Mississippi River starts in northern Minnesota and runs all the way down to the Gulf of Mexico.
        That's my guess.

          I’d vote for the Mississippi by a long shot, just because of its size and the range of geography and climate it covers. The northern reaches have northern pike, musky, yellow perch, walleye etc., while the southern end has alligator gar, redfish, speckled trout and even bull sharks that migrate in from salt water, along with lots of freshwater species.
