    I have been having a problem with the blades on my spinnerbait. The willow leaf keeps getting stuck under the hook and won't spin. How do i fix this?

    This happens to me too. I just untangle it and cast agin but if it is still a problem, try to retrieve it at a different speed. See if that works.

      I will often take a pair of needle-nose pliers (a.k.a. fish pliers) and try tuning the blades by bending them a bit at the tip or on one side.

        Sometimes you can open the bait up a bit more - a wider V.

            A trick I will use is start the retrieve just before the lure hits the water. That way the whole assembly is in line when you start the retrieve.
