I like Strike King spinnerbaits for largemouth bass. I also use berkley and zoom plastic worms in a variety of colors (purple, black, chartruse, pumpkin). Rapala crankbaits work well, I use a shad rap with decent success. This time of year, I stick to plastic worms. Fish em slow, and you'll be rewarded.

Can't tell you what to use for croakers, but hopefully this will give you an idea of what to use for bass.

Rapala origanal floating minnow in the 2" lond size. The chartruse and silver one is magic. I'm talking 4 hits every 10 casts. at least.

Its hard to beat a plastic worm. It can be fished as a top water or bounced off the bottom of a lake. It can be retrieved slow or fast.
