After alot of people helped me out, i finally decided to go ahead a buy a Rapala Husky Jerk in HJ-14. Now thats a 5 1/2 inch lure thats good for pike but is that too big for largemouth bass?

Tiny ultralight baits can provoke strikes when nothing else will, but if largemouth are in the mood, nothing is too big. 10-inch plastic worms catch a lot of big bass, and I've had small largemouth the same length as a stick bait try to literally destroy it. -
