At what depth should I be fishing in the spring and what lure type should I be using, for bass, or any panfish?

for crappies i would go about 1.5 feet of the bottom, blue gills about a foot higher, minnows or worms, bass surface fishing or tubes at about 2 3 feet

For Bass I would recommend soft plastics such as a ring fry worm or senko style worm 4" size rigged wacky style or weedless without a weight.

For crappie and panfish try some panfish assasins in the 2"-3" size with a 1/32 or 1/16 oz jighead or slider head.

Start on the bottom and work your way to the surface if you notice they are hitting closer to the top then switch to a tiny topwater bait or floating worm in the 3-4" class.
