I've been fishing for bass in ponds my whole life. But the only thing ive done is throw a worm out there and wait for a bite. Maybe occasionally a spinner or something. Whats some good advice on other ways to fish a lake or pond?

Wiggle a wacky worm around the whole damn thing. Guaranteed to catch any bass living in any pond.

Spinnerbaits, poppers, spoons and rubberbaits all work for bass. And like shane said, twitching a rubber worm.

My favorite way to catch bass is on a buzzbait. Throw it along the shore or near any available cover, lilypads, trees or over submerged vegetation. The strikes are explosive. They work best for me right before and right after dark. Just make sure the bait stays on top
If it is really weedy try a weedless plastic frog like the Scumfrog.

Try a frog bait. I like "Horny Toads". Wait 3 seconds after you feel the weight of the bass to set the hook though. Retrieve steadily.

Topwater is alot of fun. frogs work great, buzzbaits, poppers, and my personal favorite, torpedoes. It's a great way to spend alot of money.

I use live frogs hooked thru the back leg. Toss them out past lilly pads and hang on.

depends on the pond if theres a lot of vegatation around the outside i throw bass assassins and plastic frogs works every time

I really like using tube baits, rigged weedless and weightless, pitch them into cover and on the outer edge of cover.

Jigs are great for ponds as well, try a 3/16oz rattleback jig with a grub trailer or use a 4" worm for a trailer, it will get through the cover and can be fished traditionally or you can swim it, the trailer will add extra movement and vibration.
