I caught 1 5lb cat so far, I have five lines out and moved them all to deeper water, rebaited and I am running them again in about 40 min.

Right on! I caught a 3 lb bass while fishing for crappie. The water was still 46 degrees so I was surprised to see the bass in that shallow. Caught it in 2 feet of water on a 1/16 oz. spinnerbait.
      Good luck with the cats!

Trout fishing in the NC mountains. Caught 9 yesterday (2 released themselves and I let 1 go). Today, I only caught 3, and I had to work for those. The Little River has been fished to death the last 2 days.

Ok final score the afore mentioned Cat, 2 keeper SM Bass, 1 Drum, 1 throw back cat, and 2 large Snake heads. Is anyone familiar with this breed?? I've never seen anything like them and the G & F is having a fit about them taking over water ways. They are even shocking rivers to try to kill them out.

Did you kill the snakeheads? We used to have a problem with dogfish in my favorite pike lake, but after a year of throwing them in the garden,we took care of that problem. By the way we went after Crappie today, but no luck!

I know this is hard to believe but me and three of my friends csught 108 fish today. No joke. It was incredible. About 100 of them were striped bass and the others consist of bream, 1 bass, and 1 catfish. Best day of fishing I have ever had.

Caught several bass today, most were in the 1-2lb range, no big one's today.

Bait of choice was a strike king weedless tube and a gambler 7" floating worm in black and yellow water snake pattern.
