      As far as spinning rods are concerned I would go with the Phoebe, I have caught many trout with it, you just have to find the right area for rainbows.

        Spinners are the tried and true classic. Try Mepps or Panther Martins.

        Also, tiny Rapala minnow plugs work great.

                    Put a panther martin on a spinning rod. Or put on a bobber and a live worm.

                      here in Nothern Colorado I have had great success with a solid gold color panther martin.

                        I would throw trout magnet. Its a small artificial lure that you can just jig across the stream.
