I have caught a ton of fish this year on Strike King's Crankbaits (series 3) Sunfish, Green Tomato....Hard to beat an original rattle trap though. I have used chatterbaits and have caught fish with them as well.

Chatter frogs/chatterbaits are all alike. Either way, they work great and each surely has a unique characteristic that will make a difference.

As to cranks. I am loving the LC DD 2.5 and I have always loved Luhr Jensen Speed Traps.

#5 shad rap has to be my favorite. ive cuaght everything from crappie to big stripers on them.

i like the fat shad, although i had a lot of luck on a bill dance fat free shad...lost it can't seem to find anymore
