how big can a bass weigh?

  • #2
The world record for a largemouth is 22.25lb caught in 1932 by George Perry. Though every year a couple of bass are caught that are said to pass that record, none have been confirmed as the world record. This time of year is the best time to catch them, when the bass are spawning.

With the right environment and bait fish/food, a bass could grow probably as large as 30 poundsor even more.....the world record is a little over 22 pounds, and there is not a doubt in my mind that there is a world record bass in America today
