I've heard a lot about the shaky head worms for largemouth; anybody use them? And if so what time of year do you fish them, what depths, what colors work? etc. Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

Ya, I like them during the dog days of summer, but they work any time of the year. They are good in deeper water. I would go with a green pumpkin or watermelon in clearer water. If the water is a little stained, dip the tail in chartreuse dye. I never really use them in murky water, but if I did, I would go with black

They are an excellent bait all year round. I fish them really slow and let what little current give them motion. Make sure you get the really soft worms for added motion and you can use the worms with tails also to give them a different look. They are great for river smallmouth fishing also. Get the jigs with the high standing hook and screw for the head, they tend to be more expensive but seem to work better.

Isee a bunch of pros on TV usin them so they must be pretty good. Most seem to use them in deeper water with some type of current.
